Who we are
Mobility Equipment Restoration is led by an Omaha NE couple, Marne and Hans Iwand.
Marne Iwand is a licensed physical therapist with over 20 years of experience employed by the Munroe-Meyer Institute at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Marne often works with school age children in the public school system which gives her the opportunity to meet children that are in need of mobility equipment.
Hans Iwand is a metallurgical engineer/fabricator who uses his skills and machine shop to repair as well as fabricate custom equipment for children.
Marne and Hans are joined by friends and family that help with various tasks including refurbishing and detailing equipment.
